Meet Jill and Sandi

The seeds of our story started in a field. Well, it was a groundbreaking, actually, as Sandi’s company was preparing to build a new corporate headquarters in the town of Huntersville, where Jill served on the town board.

We clicked almost immediately and slowly a friendship sprouted and grew. But this is not a tale of how a friendship happened. This is the tale of how two women started a small company and the adventures that have ensued.

Bristle & Brush is our company – created in that fateful 2020 year when we needed something to bring us joy and we discovered the therapeutic benefits of painting with Fusion Mineral Paint. And, how much fun it was to bring other people into the DIY painting realm.

Since we started our company, we have found furniture by the side of the road and transformed it. We’ve visited the homes of drug dealers and hoarders, we’ve had a trailer tire explode in the driveway of a newly-sold home, and that same trailer come unattached from the car while pulling a load of furniture. We have laughed and danced and giggled and texted too many times to count.

We have met wonderful, delightful people that have fallen – and stayed – in our lives, simply because of the initial common denominator of Fusion. You see, painting with Fusion is fulfilling and easy and the end result is a satisfying sense of creativity.
